James is an experienced legal executive who joined Curio Pictures in 2022 as part of the legal and business affairs team supporting the company’s production and development slates.

He was previously at ITV Studios Australia overseeing a diverse slate of documentary, unscripted and entertainment programs including I’m a Celebrity! Get Me Out Of Here Australia, Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell, The Chase Australia and Alone Australia. As part of the Create NSW/SBS Diversity Talent Escalator program, James also assisted on the game show Mastermind as an associate producer.

Before joining the screen industry James worked at a global top tier law firm specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, funds management and capital raisings.
